When you walk away for one minute...

I used to be able to put Alexis on her playmat while I went and got myself ready. I put her down and was out of the room for less than a minute. I returned to find her a)on her tummy and b)in her own spitup!! I guess I cant leave her anymore now that she figured out how to roll.


I did clean her up but she didn't have the great "I did it mommy!" smile in the cleaned up picture

She rolled!

Of course she's going to have all of her firsts happen while we're all asleep! Sometime between when I checked on her before I went to bed at 11pm and when daddy checked on her at 6am, she rolled onto her tummy... and then slept that way. We decided to take out the crib saver after that since she clearly was going to be getting all tangled up in it now that she's a roller!

We have a sitter!

I was hanging out at my mom's today and she put Alexis into a sitting position, and she sat! I couldn't believe it. I hadn't even tried to have her sit on her own, so I don't know how long she's been strong enough. She still doesnt have the balance to stay up long, but darn it, she's close!
