Bike Ride with Daddy

Alexis loves going on bike rides. She kicks Daddy in the butt :) And she is always trying to find Mommy (usually way behind them LOL). Sometimes Daddy rides REALLY fast and she loves it.

Children's Museum

We took Alexis to the Children's Museum and she loved it. She loved pretending to work in a doctors office with Daddy.

She didn't really "get" the computer...

She drove the car...

Went grocery shopping (and even stole stuff from another kids cart)

She took one look at the onion, said "ball" and threw the onions :)

New Table

I got Alexis a new table. She LOVES it (it's a kidskraft table from Amazon) and it's the perfect size for her. It even comes with 4 storage bins so we've replaced her toy box with those (and weeded out her "baby toys" so only the front 2 bins are filled, leaving 2 more empty for new toys). I made the mistake of sitting down for a picture with her, and now she always points to "my chair" and she makes me sit down with her... so now instead of getting to sit on the comfy couch... I get to sit on the kiddy chair!

Alexis loves to be the leader. She likes to take kids (even strangers) by the hands and take them places.

Pull Over

While playing at a playground, Daddy stopped up to visit us and Alexis LOVED playing in his police cruiser :)

17 months

4am

Alexis decided to wake up at 4am... so I called Daddy at work and he spoke with her and told her to go back to bed. She listened fortunately and slept until 9:30am.

Cedar Point

We took Alexis to an amusement park and she was a TROOPER. She lasted from open til close. We left our house at about 8am and didn't get home until 11:45pm. She didn't even sleep on the 90 minute car ride home (which meant I couldn't eat my cotton candy since she'd want to share). She did take 2 1-hour naps in her stroller throughout the day. She even went on more rides than Daddy :) She rode the carosel twice (didn't like the horses that moved), the paddleboat excursion, the train, and snoopy's school bus (she screamed everytime it went down - I think she was losing her stomach - but overall she enjoyed it). She LOVED people watching. She LOVED watching the rollercoasters go by... she was in AWE and she applauded too!
